These unique lamp shades are made from thin bamboo strips, which allow for a variety of shapes. This, in turn, makes them very flexible; they can be adapted according to needs -allowing the light they emit to reach many different parts of the room.

They are handcrafted by traditional artisans from East Thailand who have been following this tradition since at least 150 AD - when China first introduced paper lanterns that were exported there. There is no metal involved in these lamps and so they do not require chains to hang them up - they simply attach directly onto power cords!

Absolutely lovely! Came in great shape, exactly matched description, and surpassed my expectations. It's so perfect.

The lampshades are beautiful, just like in the photos! Putting them together was not as easy as I thought, yet not complicated, and the shipping was fast. My only advice for the company would be to reduce the amount of unnecessary plastic in their packaging and not to include extra pieces. The lampshades came with a handful of metal and plastic pieces that didn't belong with the ones I ordered. I love the lampshades and how fast the order was processed. I will buy again for sure.
