Most basket light fixtures here are pendant shades sold as the shade only. You need a pendant cord kit, such as a plug-in kit, or an existing ceiling fitting, plus a bulb. A few shades, such as JUNDARA and SAWAN, include an adjustable metal bracket for positioning the bulb. Check what is included on each product page before you order.
Bulbs are not included. Most shades take an E27 bulb, and several list E26 / E27. A warm white LED brings out the weave and keeps the glow soft. Most product pages list a maximum of 60W, so check the page for the shade you choose before buying a bulb.
Only under cover, and only some designs. Shades such as WAN are listed as suitable for indoor use or covered outdoor areas, like a roofed porch or pergola, while others are for indoor use only. Product pages advise avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, rain and excessive humidity, so keep shades out of the weather. Check each product page first.
The pendant shades do not come with a cord, but you can pair one with a plug-in pendant cord kit. The AURA and MAY TI bamboo wall sconces come with your choice of US, UK, EU or AU plug, and the rattan wicker floor lamp base includes a cord, an inline rocker switch and the same plug choices. Bulbs are sold separately.
Sizes run from small shades such as NAT up to wide designs such as VAREE (Extra Large) and DARIN, and many designs come in several sizes. Use small shades at a bedside or in a cluster, and a larger one as the main light over a table. Each product page lists the measurements, so measure your space first.
