Handmade throw pillow covers, woven on a hand loom

Five of the seven pieces here are handmade pillow covers, each woven on a traditional hand loom by Thai artisans from natural cotton fibres. They are sold as covers only: the pillow insert is not included, so you can fill them with an insert you already have. Every piece in this collection is handmade in Thailand, and because each cover is woven by hand, no two are exactly alike.

Square and long handcrafted pillow covers

WANALA and Aurora are square, 51 x 51 cm (20 x 20 in). WANALA has red and natural cotton stripes, and Aurora has a clean white finish with a subtle woven texture. ASARA, LA NA PA and SUP PA RA DA are longer, 40 x 66 cm (16 x 26 in): ASARA is a plain, soft neutral, LA NA PA is striped, and SUP PA RA DA has an intricate woven pattern. The listings suggest them for sofas, beds, armchairs, benches and window seats.

A padded floor cushion and a rattan pillow

Two pieces come ready to use. The KANTIMA Kajood Floor Cushion is generously padded and 45 x 45 cm (18 x 18 in), for floor seating, reading, meditation or yoga, and is listed for indoor and covered outdoor use, such as a patio, balcony or covered terrace. The KON CHA WAN Handcrafted Rattan Pillow is handwoven from flexible natural rattan in an open weave, 28 cm (11 in) long, 18 cm (7 in) wide and 8 cm (3 in) high, for meditation, yoga, floor seating or as a decorative accent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the pillow insert included?

Not with the hand loom covers. ASARA, WANALA, Aurora, LA NA PA and SUP PA RA DA are each sold as a pillow cover only, and the insert is not included. The KANTIMA Kajood Floor Cushion is generously padded and ready to sit on, and the KON CHA WAN pillow is woven from rattan.

What sizes are the pillow covers?

WANALA and Aurora are square, 51 x 51 cm (20 x 20 in). ASARA, LA NA PA and SUP PA RA DA are 40 x 66 cm (16 x 26 in). Choose an insert in the same size as the cover you order. The KANTIMA floor cushion is 45 x 45 cm (18 x 18 in), and the KON CHA WAN rattan pillow is 28 x 18 x 8 cm (11 x 7 x 3 in).

What are the pillow covers made from?

The five hand loom covers are woven from natural cotton fibres by Thai artisans on a traditional hand loom; the SUP PA RA DA listing says primarily natural cotton.
