The art of
handwoven living
Sculptural lighting, wall decor, woven baskets and straw bags — handwoven by Thai artisans, in pieces you simply can't find in a big-box store.
From sculptural pendant lights to woven trays and straw bags — every piece handcrafted from natural materials.
You can't buy this story at a big-box store.
Our shades are woven by hand in the northern villages where these techniques have been passed down for generations — the same rattan-binding craft used in everyday village life for decades. Every piece carries that human touch, a warmth you'll never get from a flat-pack box.

"I grew up watching weavers turn palm leaves into something beautiful. Thai Home Shop is how I bring their work to the world."
Rain grew up in Korat, in Thailand's Isaan region, surrounded by the rhythm of artisan hands and natural materials drying in the sun. As mass production crowded out the craftspeople she admired, she built Thai Home Shop as a bridge — a way to connect their skill with homes around the world.
Fast-growing bamboo and rattan regrow in three to five years, so nothing is clear-cut. We cut only mature stalks by hand from the groves that ring our weavers' home villages — no plantations, no heavy machinery.
A single shade takes a skilled artisan two to three days, shaped strand by strand over a wooden mould. No two are identical — small variations in weave and tone are the signature of a piece made by a person, not a press.
Each piece is cushioned in recycled, plastic-free packaging and sent worldwide with free tracked delivery. If it isn't right, our 30-day no-fuss return promise means you can send it back, on us.
