This page brings together our woven placemats, coaster sets and table runner, and each product page names the material. Most listings say the piece is handwoven by artisans in Thailand. Sedge is the most common fibre, used for Lana, Lavida, Lalawee, Lalavin, Lavin, RUN CHI TA, WI RA KAN and LAVINLIA. Water hyacinth gives KA NOK PUN, THI PA NAN, YA NI SA, JI RA PREE YA, KA RAN and KO RA WAT a textured, earthy finish, and you can see them together in our water hyacinth placemats. PHIN NA RA, PHAK RA DA and BE LIN DA are bamboo, and MON CHI TA is woven from banana leaf sheath.

Boho placemats in natural, striped and dark tones

Most designs here are listed as boho placemats, with warm natural tones and a textured weave. For pattern, Lavida has a black Khid pattern inspired by Thai weaving, Lalawee is striped in natural and dark tones, and Lalavin is striped in warm beige and deep brown. RA SI TA is dark blue, LAVINLIA mixes blue and natural tones, and Lavila is woven in black with a natural edge. A patterned mat can sit alongside plain ones on the same table.

Round and rectangular woven table mats

There are eleven round placemats, all 30 cm (12 in) across apart from YA NI SA at 25 cm (10 in). The rectangular woven table mats come in three sizes: 46 x 36 cm (18 x 14 in), 45 x 30 cm (18 x 12 in) and, for the bamboo designs, 40 x 27 cm (16 x 11 in). Rattan and wicker placemats

Wicker describes the woven look rather than one material, and this range gives that look in several plant fibres. If you want rattan itself, DOL LA VA is the rattan placemat, and the WAN NA and FUNDEE coaster sets are rattan too. Most other designs are sedge, water hyacinth or bamboo, so check the material named on each product page before you order.

Coasters, a table runner and care

Every coaster design is a set of 4: WAN NA and FUNDEE in rattan, KA NOK PUN in water hyacinth with a jute edge, PI MA IA, and Lavila in black with a natural edge. The LAVINLIA table runner, 150 cm (59 in) long, matches the LAVINLIA placemat. Most listings advise wiping with a damp cloth and letting the mat air dry, and RUN CHI TA and WI RA KAN can also be stored gently rolled.
