Bamboo floor lamps, or a rattan floor lamp?

Every lamp in this collection is a bamboo lamp, handmade in Thailand with a shade woven from natural bamboo. Switch one on and the open weave casts shadow patterns on the walls around it for a relaxed boho feel. Most designs keep the warm tone of natural bamboo, while A WA RA has a matte black finish. LUCK, KI RA KON and NIT CHA MON are inspired by traditional Thai fishing trap baskets. Because each lamp is woven by hand, expect small differences in tone, weave and shape. If you came looking for a rattan floor lamp, none of these is rattan: every shade is bamboo, woven by hand into an open weave. How tall is a boho standing lamp? Sizes and shapes

These are low lamps that stand on the floor, not tall lamps on a pole. Heights run from 18 cm (7 in) to 83 cm (33 in), so check the size table on each product page. A SA RA and A WA RA come in seven sizes, XS to XXXL, from 35 to 83 cm (14 to 33 in). LUCK comes in five sizes, from 48 to 76 cm (19 to 30 in), and NIT CHA MON in four, from 18 to 51 cm (7 to 20 in) high and up to 38 cm (15 in) across.

The shades of A SA RA and A WA RA are flexible, so you can keep the tall shape or press it into a rounder form, held with a string on A WA RA. RAT TI KAN and RAT YA list Large, Small and Round shapes, and PAKPING lists Small, Large and Round, but none of the three has a size option, so contact us before ordering to confirm the shape you will receive. Their size tables give heights of 23 to 55 cm (9 to 21 in) for RAT TI KAN and RAT YA, and 25 to 60 cm (10 to 24 in) for PAKPING. KI RA KON, at 35 cm (14 in), and BA WON KAN, at 29 cm (11 in), each come in one compact size.

Plug, switch and bulb for each bamboo floor lamp

Each lamp comes with an E27 socket on a power cord, an inline on/off switch and the plug type you select: US (Type A), UK (Type G), EU (Type C) or AU (Type I). Six listings give a cord length of 1.8 m. A SA RA stands on a solid rubberwood base, and A WA RA, CHI NA and KI RA KON on solid wooden bases. A SA RA and A WA RA arrive ready to assemble, and the other designs arrive ready to use once you add a bulb. Lamps with a US plug run on AC 110 to 120V, and lamps with a UK, EU or AU plug on AC 220 to 240V.

The bulb is not included. The listings recommend a warm white LED or a vintage Edison style LED bulb with an E27 fitting, which brings out the weave. Most designs list a 60W maximum, but KI RA KON lists 13W LED, so check the limit before you buy a bulb.
