Bulk woven placemats for restaurants, cafes and events

Thai Home Shop can supply woven placemats in bulk for restaurants, cafes, hotels, caterers, wedding and event planners, and shops that need many pieces of the same design. Every placemat here is handwoven in Thailand, in round and rectangular designs with natural tones, stripes, patterns or darker colours. Instead of adding pieces to the cart one at a time, choose the designs that suit your tables and send us an inquiry. We will confirm which are available in the quantity you need and quote a price.

Restaurant placemats: round or rectangular

For restaurant placemats, measure a table and one full place setting before choosing a shape. Round designs are 30 cm (12 in) in diameter, except YA NI SA, which is 25 cm (10 in). Rectangles come in three footprints: 46 by 36 cm (18 by 14 in) for Lana, Lavida, Lalawee, Lalavin and Lavila; 45 by 30 cm (18 by 12 in) for RUN CHI TA, WI RA KAN, KA NOK PUN, RA SI TA and LAVINLIA; and 40 by 27 cm (16 by 11 in) for the bamboo designs.

Woven placemats wholesale: materials and the wicker look

Searching for wicker placemats in bulk? These woven sedge, water hyacinth, bamboo and rattan designs give a similar natural look. Sedge is used most, in RUN CHI TA, Lana, WI RA KAN, Lavida, Lavin, Lalawee, LAVINLIA and Lalavin. KO RA WAT, KA RAN, YA NI SA, THI PA NAN, KA NOK PUN and JI RA PREE YA are water hyacinth, and BE LIN DA, PHIN NA RA and PHAK RA DA are bamboo. DOL LA VA is the only rattan design and MON CHI TA uses banana leaf sheath. RA SI TA and Lavila say natural fibers; KUL CHA, PI TI MON and NA RA DEE name no material.

Wedding placemats, charger plates and matching many tables

Woven placemats suit wedding and event tables as well as dining rooms, adding natural texture beneath each place setting. Along a long table, repeat one design throughout or alternate two of the same size. Most of the range keeps to warm natural tones. For color, choose dark blue RA SI TA, blue and natural LAVINLIA, or black Lavila with its natural edge; for pattern, Lavida carries a black Khid motif, while Lalawee and Lalavin have stripes. Our guide to styling a table with natural placemats has more layout ideas.

Each placemat is made by hand, so pieces of the same design can differ slightly, most often in color, weave and size, which is worth allowing for when dozens sit side by side. Care is simple on most product pages: clean with a damp cloth, leave to air dry and keep flat in storage. LAVINLIA can be wiped gently or spot cleaned, but not soaked or machine washed, and Lavin should be kept away from prolonged moisture.

Our round woven placemats are also sold as charger plates, set under each dinner plate on wedding, event and restaurant tables, and any of them can be quoted in quantity. Ten round designs are 30 cm (12 in) across and YA NI SA is 25 cm (10 in), so measure the dinner plates you will use first. DOL LA VA is the only rattan charger; THI PA NAN, KO RA WAT, KA RAN, JI RA PREE YA and YA NI SA are water hyacinth, Lavin is sedge and MON CHI TA is banana leaf sheath. Our table runners can be quoted in quantity too, including the LAVINLIA runner in the same blue and natural sedge as the LAVINLIA placemat.

How to order bulk woven placemats

Frequently Asked Questions

Send the names of the designs you want and how many of each, your delivery country, and the date you need the placemats. You can do this through our wholesale inquiries page. We will then confirm availability and pricing for your order. Bulk orders ship from Thailand, and any import duties or taxes are paid by the buyer, so it helps to check the rules for your country while you plan.

Yes, in one design. DOL LA VA is our rattan charger, a round design 30 cm (12 in) across that its listing describes as both a placemat and a decorative charger plate. For the same woven look in other fibers, our other round placemats are also sold as chargers, including five in water hyacinth, Lavin in sedge and MON CHI TA in banana leaf sheath. Any design can be quoted in quantity, so list the designs and numbers you need, and we will confirm availability and pricing.

Not exactly. Each placemat is handwoven, and the product pages note slight variations between pieces, most often in color, weave and size. Across a large order these small differences are normal for a handmade product. If close matching matters for your dining room or event, allow for these small differences when you plan your tables.

YA NI SA is the smaller round at 25 cm (10 in); the other round designs measure 30 cm (12 in) in diameter. Rectangles come in 46 by 36 cm (18 by 14 in), 45 by 30 cm (18 by 12 in), and 40 by 27 cm (16 by 11 in) for the bamboo BE LIN DA, PHIN NA RA and PHAK RA DA. Each product page lists its exact measurements.

Most product pages give one routine: wipe with a damp cloth, allow the placemat to air dry, then store it flat so it holds its shape. Two designs, RUN CHI TA and WI RA KAN, may be rolled gently for storage instead. Wipe LAVINLIA gently or spot clean it, let it dry fully before putting it away, and do not soak or machine wash it. Keep Lavin away from prolonged moisture.
