Wicker wall decor in rattan, bamboo and woven fans

We use wicker as the umbrella term for wall pieces woven by hand from natural materials, so this collection brings rattan, bamboo and fan designs together on one page. Most of the wall sets are natural rattan, usually round plates and hanging baskets in mixed sizes. PU YI SA weaves bamboo and rattan into one design, and the fans add pattern: LA LIN in black and white, LA LA VAN in a bright mix of tones. You can also browse our rattan wall decor and bamboo wall decor collections.

Wicker wall art sets from 3 to 9 pieces

Most designs come as sets, so a single order can cover a whole arrangement. WAN JAI and the round flower mandala design come as sets of 3; WARRADA, SARANG, KAN SI NE and CHANIA have 5 pieces; A RIN has 6, KA RISH MA 7 and HOM 8; and TEE WIT, LA VI PA and A PA each have 9. Set pieces measure from 10 cm (4 in) to 30 cm (12 in) across, and most set listings label each design with a letter and its size, which makes it easier to sketch a layout on paper first.

Large wicker wall decor ideas

The largest set pieces are 30 cm (12 in) across, so a large wicker wall look comes from grouping rather than from one oversized piece. A set of 9, or two smaller sets hung as one cluster, covers more of the wall above a sofa, bed or sideboard. Try cutting paper templates the size of each piece and taping them up until the spacing feels right, then fix each piece where its template was. For more ideas, see our guide on how to decorate a large wall.

Handwoven fans and wicker decor for the table

The LA LIN and LA LA VAN fans are lightweight, handwoven from natural materials and finished with a wrapped handle, so they hang easily on a wall and can also be used as a hand fan on warm days. You will see each name more than once, as several fans are listed separately, and some LA LA VAN listings let you choose design A or B. Away from the wall, the DAORUNG rattan basket, sold small, large or as a set of two, holds fruit, candles or keys, and DONGDOA is a smaller rattan basket for everyday essentials.

Hanging your wicker decorations

For fixings, the usual choices are small nails, screws and picture hangers, with adhesive strips for any wall you prefer not to drill. Begin with the piece you want as the focal point, then add the smaller ones around it, keeping the gaps roughly even. The LA LIN fans have a wrapped handle for easy hanging. If you are new to this, read our guide to hanging baskets on a wall before you start. Delivery from Thailand is estimated at 2 to 10 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mostly, yes. Set sizes run from 3 pieces, as in WAN JAI, up to 9 pieces in TEE WIT, LA VI PA and A PA, with sets of 5, 6, 7 and 8 in between. The piece count appears in the product title or description, and most set listings give a measurement for each design in the set, which helps you picture the group on your wall.

Pieces in the sets measure from 10 cm (4 in) to 30 cm (12 in) across, and most sets mix several sizes; WARRADA, for example, runs from 10 to 30 cm. The DAORUNG basket is 15 cm (6 in) in small and 20 cm (8 in) in large. Expect small differences from the listed measurements, since every piece is woven by hand.

Yes. Both are lightweight fans handwoven from natural materials, with a wrapped handle, so you can hang one on the wall or use it as a hand fan on warm days. LA LIN has a black and white pattern, and LA LA VAN has bright woven patterns. Several listings share each name, and some LA LA VAN listings offer design A or B.

A fixing for each piece: a small nail, a screw or a picture hanger, or an adhesive strip on walls you want to keep free of holes. Decide on the arrangement before fixing anything, then hang your focal piece and build the group around it. The LA LIN fans have a wrapped handle for easy hanging.

Natural rattan is the main material, used in most of the wall sets and in the DAORUNG and DONGDOA baskets. PU YI SA combines bamboo with rattan, and the LA LIN and LA LA VAN fans are handwoven from natural materials. Hand weaving means tone and texture shift a little between pieces, even within one set.
